My blissful family on that day
31st of August was the nation's 51st Merdeka Day and it was also the day my sister got engage . I'm glad that she has found the guy of her dream to settle down with. I'm also happy for her to be marrying a, erm.... I wouldn't say a wealthy man, but a STABLE man. Yes. That’s the correct way of putting it. And that means I will be more stable as well (as I will share some of the profit) haha!
The engagement ceremony was a pretty low-key event and was held at my parents crib in hometown USJ. During the ceremony, the pihak lelaki and pihak perempuan exchanged hantaran. The spokesman for the pihak lelaki was Pak Zain, which is Anuar Zain's father. This also means, the perfomer during my sisters wedding later will be none other that Anuar himself. I enjoy his music and all but I’m not jumping up and down about it. Ok, back to the engagement storyline.
It was a lovely intimate affair which saw both side of the family bonding and embracing each other. As for my future brother-in-law, he’s a bit older than me. But physically of coz I look way younger than him coz I am blessed with a youthful feature. =)
I would like to take this opportunity to invite all those who know my sister and my close friend to my sister’s wedding on the 10th of October. That’s raya ke-10.
