2008. Another year of my life filled with memories. I thought that I would write some of the memorable things that I have done or seen in the year of 2008! Kenangan manis pahit masam manis kelat sumer ada. Mari kita saksikan...

January 2008

New year kicked off with a new obsession for me...

Dell
Wuhooo~ New laptop for me. Suke-suke. Adek aku yg belikan sebenarnye. =)

Facebook
Replacing reign champion; Myspace. Aku pon da lupa sapa yg invite aku join. Whoever you are, thank you. FB was so much fun to explore then and still is. Aku suke sebab dia macam lebih mature skit drpd myspace. Aku suke. Da la byk application kat situ. Ciom-ciom, makan-makan, hantar donut sumer bole.

Vampire
An application in FB that I was addicted to. Feeling Buffy da time ni.



Wan's LQ Performance
That was Wan's second performance there but the first for me as i missed the first one (black theme). As we did most of the time we went out together, everybody dress according to the theme of the night which was yellow. They danced to the hits from one of my fav icon - Britney Spears. After that, my interest in clubbing just faded away. I became a Facebooker.

February 2008

Roger Rabbit
My dad bought 4 super kawaii bunnies. I had always have trouble with animals but I found myself able to adapt myself with rabbits.

Taylor Swift
Country music has always been my cup of tea. Artist like Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Faith Hill were familiar name in my MP3. Taylor was the new darling of country music. Her music was very catchy and cute.

March 2008

Botak Birthday Party
That was the first time I met him outside of club. He invited me thru webcam during our chat one night. I went with Bulat and Eddy. The theme was White & Jeans.


Oldtown Reunion
Oldtown was happening that night as we created frenzy with reunion of friends that I haven’t met in quite a while. The likes of Jack and Elva totally made the night special to me.


Sunway Reunion
Kami reramai turun Pyramid nk spent time ngan Pondan sebelom dia fly off pegi London nk carik logi baru utk diterokai.

Damaged
Mmg sgt gela dgr lagu ni time ni. Joget joget lalalala. Do-do-you!

April 2008

Alsa known as The Dark Age for me. I hit rock bottom during this period of time. At least something good did come out of it. I started become close to Hid because she was also experiencing the same thing as I did so she always lend her ears and so did I.


Sipadan Adventure
That was really my first holiday trip ever not counting the ones I had with my parent when I was still in diapers. This happen during my "jiwa kacau" period. Aku diam-diam je terbang pergi tawau tak bagitaw sesapa pon. And i had a blast. The most amazing time. It made me fall in love with beaches. Can't wait for my next trip.
p/s: sipadan is sinking. go there while it’s still afloat.



Hid, Aida & Baron Triple Birthday Bash
Echoing my previous birthday party with all red outfit, this party was held at Sunshine, a club that we went quite number of time during this time. Since it’s a triple birthday on one night my budget to buy present was divided to 3. Sorry hid, promise I’ll get u a better one next year ;)

It’s natural for heartbroken people find comfort in food. So that month was especially dedicated to my dear friend called FOOD. Aku makan je sumer makanan yg aku tak penah makan lagi

Korean BBQ & Seafood
Ni eca n paktam yg ajak masa tu pegi join derang nk celebrate keje baru Zie.

Wendy's
Whos that girl. ;) The wendy-craze happened when they open their outlet in Sunway Pyramid. Hid, Yana, Bing and I were among the first to taste their triple layer burger!



Rasa Sayang
After the reunion thingy, oldtown has become a regular lepak place for my buddies, but this was my first time eating at Rasa Sayang which located right next to Oldtown. Aku pegi sana nk makan the best goreng-goreng around.


BubbaGump
Sini la tempat Bing keje dulu. Located at the Curve upper level, this restaurant serves shrimp as their main dish.


Kedai Buluh
Eca introduced me to this place and i just love the atmosphere here. When we step inside, we forgot that we are actually in Kg Baru. It was so serene.


Faiez Surprise Birthday
I mastermind this birthday celebration. We celebrated this at the office. I love surprise birthday.


Devil Advocate
Instead of our usual color coded matching outfit for clubbing, we opted for devil theme that time. We definitely made an impact at the club that night. We're so coool. Akhirnya mood aku nk gi club sudah kembali.


Pangkor Trip
My second trip. I missed my beach too much, so a couple of my friends from the office plan a weekend vacay to Pangkor Island, since it’s more like a budget trip. I had tons of fun none the less.


Black Karaoke
That karaoke stood out because without prior planning, most of us turned out that night with black shirts. Cool. All of us on the same wavelength.


Kak Aida's Wedding
My feet were sore, my hair was a mess, my hand could barely wave but a smile on my face remains. It was hands down top 5 of my fondest memories of 2008. Too many stories to tell. Refer here.

June 2008

Roommate
Enter Qash. I knew him from Paktam and we grew close as friend since his family live quite nearby to my place. So during his semester break, he told me that he got a partime job at Pyramid and asked me whether he could crash for a couple of month. I said YES!


Qash Birthday Party
Held at Laundry Bar at The Curve and attended by most of Qash closest friends only.


Last Day with Bing
Bing told me that he got the job he always wanted at LV Singapore. So i took him out one last time before he becomes a kiasu Singaporean. Lepak at Curve, Ikea and Ikano


Eca's Gold Card
Seriously i went nuts mcm org kampung tak penah tgk gold card. Eca treat me with a lunch at TGIF. (first time to TGIF ;p)


KungFu Panda
This movie definitely made an impact on me. It’s easily one of my favourite movies of all time. Tho' I kindda like to rename the title to KungFu Baron for some obvious reasons.


Qash Masuk TV
That was one of those thing that stuck inside my head. Qash in tight spandex!

Resign: Bye-Bye CTS
After almost 2 years working there I finally quit pursuing other opportunity. No doubt that I will miss this place and the friends I left behid.

Masz Birthday Party
Held at Sogo RedBox. Thanks for the invitation. Lesson learned: Do not eat before karaoke-ing at Redbox coz got food there! Who knew.


Downtown Cheras
Oldtown? Muntah-muntah! Downtown was the new hip and happening place to hang and chill and not to mention; shop. Other attraction there? Otak otak or we like to say, Brain-brain. Oh and shisha shisha. Bawah meja... :)

Sentul
Aku menjadi warga KL akhirnya. Sebelum ni asek sipi2 KL je. Dapat jugak duduk kotaraya. Aku sewa bilik kat Apt Mawar sebelah LRT sebab senang nk pegi keje baru nanti.

KL Monorail
Tempat keje baru aku. Akhirnya aku dapat jugak lari bidang daripada buat software je. Bosan betol. Tp keje sini pon kene gak wat IT. Grrr.

Bulat Birthday Party
Sekali lagi party kaler merah. Peberet sgt. Ni kononnye konsep cam fine dining la. Ada makan-makan ikot course meal tp ramai je yg datang ikot jam melayu so sumer yg datang awal terpaksa la tunggu dgn laparnye. Sampai sekarang aku maseh tak puas hati ngan menu cokodok yg diberikan itu. Lapa OKE!

Melaka Trip
Kempuanan maksu sebab tidak dijemput time pegi Melaka aritu terbalas jugak aritu. Kami ke Melaka lagi sekali utk menikmati Ikan Bakar disana sambil jalan-jalan melawat kota Melaka dgn CK, Fariz dan Eca.


Naley's Wedding
Haritu mmg hari yg spesel utk aku sebab mmg susah nk carik masa utk lepak ngan kengkawan KEC aku sekarang nih sebab masing2 da berkeluarga dan kerja da merata rata tempat. So time Naley kawin to kitorang sumer pakat nk konvoi reramai ke Melaka. Walaupon sampai time wedding tu da abes (naseb nasik minyak ada lagi) still kitorang mmg have fun travelling together. Da lama siot x jejalan camni. Pastu ape lagi, alang2 da sampai Melaka mmg carik ikan bakar la!


Syeila's Engagement
Adik aku bertunang time 31 Ogos. Fuh. Hari kemerdekaan ni. Merdeka dari ibubapa ke. Huhu. Buat kat umah parent I di USJ. Sumer sedara mara, pakcik makcik, datuk nenek, cucu cicit sumer hadir dan menyempitkan rumah aku nk tgk adek aku bertunang. Ni baru tunang woi.

Septemper 2008

Shopping Baju Raya
Ini la masa yg ditunggu-tunggu sepanjang bulan puasa ni selain dr bazaar Ramadan. Shopping baju rayaa! Sekali lagi kami turun ke Jalan TAR utk menunaikan ibadah ini. Heh heh. Kali ni aku pegi ngan Yana, Hid and Maksu je. Aku pegi sana dgn tujuan mencarik baju kaler yellowish yet whittish yet mild brownish color. Saket pala aku mak aku nk sama kaler ngan baju dia. Naseb la ader jugak thanks to hid's eagle eyes.

Tarawikh
Malu la nk cakap. Tahun ni aku gi tarawikh sekali je. Aku gi kat Masjid KLCC. Pas abes tu terus jalan gi KLCC gi tgk wayang Midnight.


California Fitness
Setelah setahun aku dgn Fitness First aku pon tukar fitness. Sebab dekat skit ngan tempat kerja baru aku sekarang ni.

October 2008

Aidilfitri
Tahun ni laen skit dr tahun-tahun yg laen coz kali ni family aku tak balek Alor Star. Kami sekeluarga beraya kat umah kami kat USJ je. Sebab after raya je adek aku nk kawen so tak sempat ngan persiapan sumer nk buat lagi. Naseb la rakan-rakan dan sahabat handai datang bertandang kerumah memeriahkan sambutan Aidilfitri aku kali ni. Sangat best rupanya beraya di kota.


Syeila's Wedding
Resepsi perkahwinan adek aku diadakan di USJ pada hari Jumaat tu. Ramai kawan-kawan bapak aku, mak aku, adek aku, member-member aku datang haritu. Mmg pack and happening sgt. Rezeki adek aku. Hadiah pon berlungguk-lungguk sampai sekarang dok ada lagi tak bukak. Belah laki plak buat hari Sabtu kat kelab Shah Alam. Siap panggil Anuar Zain nyanyi iring adek aku lagi. Hebat. Feeling
artis.

My Surprise Birthday
Tak macam tahun-tahun yg lepas, tahun ni besday aku derang selebrate awal skit dr tarikhnya sebab nk suprise. Derang bawak aku gi Wendy’s aritu. Patut la soh aku ponteng smayang jumaat.

Dayang
Bulan ni jugak aku byk spent time ngan dayang gara-gara dia nk blah da keje kat Penang. Walaupon dia cam ala-ala da lupakan aku, takpe lah..aku maseh igt kenangan aku ngan dia.

November 2008

Mom & Dad Haj
Mak bapak aku gi Haji time besday aku. Selalu konsep besday aku je gi hantar org gi luar negara. Tahun lepas hantar adek aku gi Dubai tahun ni hantar mak bapak aku ke Mekah plak. Tapi tahun lepas terus shoot dr KLIA ke LQ nk celeb besday, tahun ni plak aku demam so balek umah terus selimut tido.

Pet Society
Huhu tgh gela men game ni. Macam bela virtual pet je. Tp sgt addictive.

December 2008

Love Story
Muncul seseorang dlm hidup aku nk ujung-ujung tahun ni. Gembira je rasa hati ini. Harap-harap kalini menjadi la yer. Seperti kebiasaan bila aku da start bercinta ni mmg la aku akan BZ je memanjang. Harap faham la yer.

So in the end, aku dapat happy ending untuk tahun ni :) Jumpa di 2009~!
